Many women finally get the strength to leave a domestic
violence situation, but sometimes at another high cost: homelessness. |

Our program does our best to welcome the new baby by providing
necessities through a Virtual Baby Shower. On a monthly basis
we provide this service to the mom during her delivery month. We always need
supplies to help mothers and their new infant start off with the needed items
to properly care for them.
Items we collect for each new mom:

(gently used & new items are welcome)
- Crib/Mattress (crib must be in good condition with all original parts,
mattress must be like new, no rips or tears)
- Car Seat (must have all straps, clips, attachments, etc. and have
never been in an accident)
- Strollers
- Plastic Tote Containers (to keep baby items clean & dry, most
families live in tents)
- Baby Bath
- Crib Sheets
- Blankets
- Sleepers
- Undershirts
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Baby Booties
- Nursing Pads
- Baby Wash Cloth/Towels
- Infant Toys
- Playpens (must have no holes or missing parts)
- Clothing (used clothing must be washed with a gentle detergent and
preferrably placed in a ziplock type bag)
The following items MUST BE NEW
Bottles, Nipples, Pacifiers, ointments, creams, shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes,
(any oral devices)
We also accept maternity wear year round. |

Virtual Baby Shower
This is a great opportunity for groups, offices, churches, moms
clubs, etc. to come together and help provide necessities for a homeless newborn.
Again, we accept gently used and new items.
Set up a collection with your group!
If you are off-island keep in mind the high cost of shipping.
We do offer alternative shipping methods if your group wants to ship large items,
and a lot of supplies, like the crib, high chair, car seat etc. Otherwise it
might be most cost effective just to purchase gift cards from Ross, Walmart,
Sear or Macy's.
Baby Memories Books
| What a great opportunity to help preserve the precious memories of these
new babies. |

If you are a creative person (scrapbook maker, mother (retired or otherwise))
or a distributor who wants to volunteer or donate, you can create a few pages,
or donate supplies for the baby memories books. We can send you the photos to
work with, ot you can send supplies and our volunteers can create the pages. (We
usually take a roll or two of film for each new baby.)
