ABOUT US:

Company Profile

Project Hawai’i is a nonprofit organization run 100% by volunteers to enhance the lives of homeless keiki (children). Project Hawai’i was designed through the partnerships of Christmas Wish Program, Inc., and Cultural Institute of America to provide proven life changing services to children living in poverty and crisis situations.  Project Hawai’i has since taken over the Christmas Wish Program and made it possible to create new educational  programs as well as other resources not otherwise available. Since Christmas Wish Program, Inc. inception in 2002, we have been successful in helping thousands of keiki on both the Big Island and Oahu escape the cycle of homelessness through interactive and educationally based programs.  These hands-on interactive programs are built to ensure the children’s successful futures. By running a volunteer based program, our team is able to create and implement programs as required to meet the ever growing needs of our clients. Building self-esteem and providing live necessities is a critical step to the success of changing our children’s future.

Project Hawai’i is solely supported by public donations and fund-raisers. Despite the fact we do not receive government funds, our agency has been successfully running year round programs to the extent we have won several awards for numerous endeavors.  Project Hawai’i was founded in 2006 and has since then taken on the responsibilities of Christmas Wish Program, Inc.
